From Dublin International Airport
The Mont is located just under 15km from Dublin International Airport (DUB) and is easily accessible by taxi, car or bus. There are taxis available 24/7 outside the main door of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. A trip to the Mont will cost approximately €30-40 depending on traffic at the time. Our reception team can call you a taxi to the airport on your time of departure from The Mont.
Traveling to the airport takes approximately 25 minutes by car or taxi during off peak times. There are a number of routes into the city centre to The Mont. We suggest you use Google Maps to show you the best route at your time of travel, or to click the above directions link to see your best route options.
The airport is also accessible via bus. The Airlink Bus Route 757 links the south side of Dublin City with the airport. There is a stop located beside our sister hotel the Davenport, which is adjacent to The Mont. The bus journey from the city centre to the airport takes approximately 45 minutes.
Main Dublin City Train Stations
The Mont is a 3-minute walk from Pearse Street Train Station, offering Dart services across Dublin and further out of the city. Connolly Station, Dublin’s largest rail station, is a 13-minute taxi ride from the hotel, while Heuston Station, serving the west and south Irish rail network, is a 20-minute walk from the lobby.
Dublin Ferry Terminal
Dublin Ferry is located 3km from The Mont and would takes around 15-minutes by car or taxi via the quays.

Bus Services
The Mont is located right on the corner of Merrion Square and there are a large number of bus routes located in close proximity. Our reception team would be delighted to assist you on which bus would be most suitable for your journey. Alternatively, guests can download the Dublin Bus app for all the info they need when traveling by bus in the city.
DART
The Mont is a 3-minute walk from Pearse Street Train Station, offering Dart services across Dublin and further out of the city including the coastal towns of North Dublin, Malahide and Howth along with South Dublin towns including Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Greystones.
Dublin Bikes
Dublin Bike station, station number 26 Merrion Square West is located within close proximity to the hotel with bikes available for rent to explore Dublin City.
Luas Tram Services
The closest Luas stop to The Mont is the Dawson Street stop on the Green line. It is located 6-minute walk from the hotel reaching destinations such as Ranelagh, Dundrum Town Centre and Sandyford Business Park. For more information on the LUAS timetable and stops, please visit the Luas website.
Car Hire
There are plenty of car hire companies located at Dublin Airport and in the city centre for guests who want to explore outside the city. Our top recommendations include Carhire.ie, Europcar and Budget.ie to name but a few. Guests can use our hotel carpark, Alexander Court during their stay which is located within a 3-minute walk of the Mont and available at a daily guest rate.
Guest Car Park
The car park for The Mont, Alexander Court, is also located on Fenian Street and is a 3-minute walk to the hotel. There is an overnight rate of €15 for guests (which is in line with the check-in time of 4pm and check out time of 11am). The hourly fee is €3 per hour before and after those times.
To access the car park, guest need an access code. Our reception team can provide this information during your check in.
